That's pretty impressive. Congratulations.
I have wanted to hunt those big ugly things for most of my life, but most likely will never happen. I have never had any desire to shoot one with a bow, or any other big game with a bow. I at one point, had thoughts about, if I ever could make it over there, would I try a handgun. I pretty much decided, I probably would not put much thought into trying a handgun either. I would be all types of happy to drop one with a rifle, actually I would be very happy to just make it over there on a hunting trip.

You are definitely living a dream. That was a pretty dang good job of not being nervous or scared to the point of F'ing up the shot. That is an accomplishment, most people would not be able to pull off on their first attempt. Once you killed numerous of a given type of animal, you will usually be calmer when taking a shot. That is truly impressive to pull that off on the first attempt.

My dream of going over there after black death, ain't going to end till I am done. I have been trying to collect guns for the purpose of, if things were to come together someday, and I am able to go. As much as I say I would not try, going after one with a handgun, a 375 JDJ, is on my list to collect.

Re-watching the footage last night as we ate the tenderloin, the group of cows came in first followed by him being the furthest from me.. they literally took a few sips and moved on, leaving him by himself giving me a clear shot. They read the script better than we did!
