primers price

I’ve passed up a lot of small rifle and large rifle at $55-60 per K lately. The 450 (small rifle magnum) was the only primer I was missing that I need. Still had 1K. Wanted 3-4K more. Paid $60 per K. Passed up a ton of 400s at $60 per K, and a few 200s as well. They’re there if you look.

Gun show prices are $10/100. Fortunately I am pretty well set.

So I was going through a box of reloading stuff I’d forgotten about and came across these. Doubt if we’ll ever se those prices again. Lol.

They had some at Academy yesterday. I bought 5 boxes (their max) of 100 of the small rifle primers for $5.99/box.

Well i bit, i didnt feel like going everywhere and looking then getting limited to 4 sleeves.

Should have asked if anyone needed some to help share extra costs. I felt dirty but i wont need primers for a while. Vista already posted they are increasing price next month....

Got smoked for $65 in extra costs so about a tank of gas lol.

Man my academy never had anything good. I usually go to the one in Webster and it's hit and miss, mostly miss.

Is there limits?

Keep checking Academy. Most in San Antonio have none, mine has had them for three weeks in a row. Large Rifle sell out, small rifle still in stock, have not seen any small pistol yet. Still limited to 4 per day.

Got lucky and found small rifle primers at Scheels in DFW. Limit 5 boxes per person. I think they were $7.99 per box of 100.
