    Drop tine buck.

Been a while since we had a buck with a drop, this dude has 2. I think we have had 5 or 6 over the past 14 years. I don’t recognize him from last year either.

Figured we would see a lot more drop tines this season. This heat should have antlers melting.

      Nice buck!

Awesome. Hopefully he will trip your trigger this year.

I don’t think I’m shooting a trophy this year. Unless a 140 8pt walks out. The rest of our mature bucks are for our clients. One for my youngest son.

This is an old cull 10pt I want my youngest to shoot. He hasn’t killed an animal yet. My oldest who is 10 has enough kills.

Any idea why drought years cause for antler irregularities? I see people comment this and that about trashy during the drought but I kind of figured it would be wet years that caused trash on antlers…?

I’m seeing a few deer with the same thing going on and just curious.

Definitely a good one to give the kiddo a little trigger time. Good luck to y’all.

That’s a really nice buck, with this drought I’m seeing more kickers and drops, I’ve got 2 deer at my feeder that have a drop this year.

Just noticing, looks like he might have an injured leg, may be the reason he has a drop. Some pictures look like he is fine, others look weird. Back left leg.

He’s definitely got something going on with the leg.
