South Llano River Antlerless hunt

My BIL and I did the South Llano River Antlerless hunt this week. When we left Thursday at 11:30 there had been 22 deer taken with nine hunters. Six of those taken were Axis and the rest WT.

BIL took two axis does, and two WT slickheads. I took an Axis buck and three WT slickheads. Pics to follow.

Always been a hunt I've wanted to make since visiting the park years ago while on vacation.

I had ten points and BIL had three when we were drawn. A very enjoyable hunt. We spent more time at the skinning rack than hunting. A group of three hunters took 11 deer.

Small world....That group was my Dad, Mom and Uncle.

They had 10pts when they were drawn also. Best hunt they have ever been on
