Texas needs to get back on traditional UT football. Linebackers and safety stuffing the run and then on offense pound the ball between the tackles. Texas has always had a simple plan of pounding the football and then go behind the defense long passing.

Problem is we don't have the DL or LB. Herman liked his 3-3-5 or 3-2-6 defenses. Look at the defense.. walk on starting at LB and a WR grad transfer getting his extra covid year as the starting S.

Think about what u posted… traditional tu football? You have different coaches every few years with different schemes. There is no such thing as traditional tu football anymore. That goes for most programs.
