I have had mine for 40 yrs. The number 1 thing that makes them cut bad is bad blade. Keep the bearings on the blade guides lubed and running free and they will last a long time. You can get one from Harbor Freight built just like the Dayton for $259
that looks like a harbor freight type saw chinese made they work okay fine for diy projects
Im almost positive its the central machinery harbor freight brand. Ive cut out thousands of knives with mine. Good blades are a must. One of the few harbor freight products i will buy again of the need arises.
