I've had one showing up in the backyard for a couple weeks. Lip squeaked him in over the weekend, but I didn't have a gun. Woke up around 3 this morning and looked out the kitchen window and he was in the back yard. Grabbed the .22, so I wouldn't wake up the neighborhood. He ran out about 60 yards in the pasture and stopped. Dropped him with a neck shot, but he kept trying to get up. Finally got about 20 yards from him to finish him off. Should have just got the .243.

394. Two out calling today

Called one in around 23 minutes this morning. It took off because it either heard or saw something it didn't like. It stopped at 125 yards to take one last look. Just long enough to get a shot off. Nosler 55gr. E-Tip took out both shoulders.

Got another one with the .223 shooting the Nosler E-Tip this evening. Should have had one more but I screwed up and he got away. I hit the wrong button on my call and the sound I didn't want to play scared the heck out of him. Hit the wrong dadgum button like a dingus. Go figure.

Haha, No Texas heart shot here... Back of the head, I was stalking down an old road and came out on a high line. He was at the end facing away in the alert position. Never knew what happened.
