Archery 8 pointer 12/01/19 self filmed

Here’s 4 pics of the before impact, at impact, and post. I’m shooting 73lbs 30.5 draw, Easton Axis FMJ. Arrow weight is 503 grains. You can see the arrow sticking out of him on the opposite side. Was down in about 7 seconds. Too thick to see where he fell but I’m proud of the footage.

They didn’t load in order... lol. But the green strobe was first then the red right before it went in him. Little forward but it did the job. He was dead in seconds

Not the greatest shot placement but I heard a crash about 8 seconds after the shot. Backed out and waited 2 hours though.

Score doesn't matter. If that's your second ever archery buck he's a dandy and one to be proud of. You worked hard for him and made it happen with bow and arrow, that's what counts. Congratulations to you on your hunting success. Looks like your freezer just got filled.

Thanks, going to try and get another one down next weekend. Put a pop up early season that I haven't hunted yet this year.
