    Flounder Gigging Question

I got a birthday coming up at the end of this month and was thinking of booking a trip. Is gigging any good this time or year?

It depends. Where are you going?

I've caught them in the bays on plastics this time of year. Find a good flounder guide and ask him.

They will be sporadic this time of year. On the bright side you should be able to gig your limits of drum and sheepshead along with a few flatties in the mix. Look up surrender at sunrise, capt David dupnik. He has been smoking the the fish lately and in my opinion there isn’t a better more hard working gigging guide in our area.

Not sure how good the gigging will be this time of year. Give capt. Chad Verburgt a call and he will shoot you straight and let you know if it's worth going gigging or just to go rod and reel fishing. Never had a bad time on his boat and always get into some good fish.

X4. Capt Dave will shoot you straight and put you on the fish. I made a late Jan/early Feb trip with him and had a quick 4 man limit.
