We will be stuffing bell peppers today with ground elk.

Brown meat with onions and garlic, add some chopped cabbage, and a can of tomatoes. I usually add dry italian seasoning, cracked pepper and salt. Cook until cabbage is soft. Fill 4 bell peppers, top with cheese, and bake at 350 until bell pepper is done.

That’s what my grandmother used to call them. In Iowa they have Made-Rite. Though it’s beef there not venison but we do it with venison.

If there’s time...fresh onions chopped in, fresh shrooms, scratch gravy, and mashed taters.

We recently bought a Ninja grill. That’s the best thing for hamburgers or hamburger steaks ever created. You can cook them well done and they are still juicy on the inside. We only use venison for ground meat and it’s hard to get well done without drying it out, except in that Ninja Foodi grill. Oh yeah, it’s great for steaks , chops, and to air fry chicken breasts or thighs. Easy to cook in, great results. I don’t know what else you’d want !

You could also make a bunch of different casseroles and freeze them.

Good ideas so far for different things to do with ground venison. My family lives off venison.

I make my hamburgers with Lipton onion soup mix. Use the soup mix as the seasoning. It comes in a box normally around the chili mix area of a store
