I worked for the Japanese for 8 years. One thing that I can assure you is that they could give a rats arse about PC or pandering. They will blow some shat up if tested.. They ain't scared..

Easiest way to solve this problem along with aggression from China and Russia in Asia is to release Japan from military restrictions imposed at the end of WWII. Even if Japan doesn't increase their military, the U.S.A. openly allowing them to do it would send the message.
