Not the 150” buck I had hoped for but I’m as proud of this midwestern doe as any deer I’ve killed. 60” 48# Bob Lee and the Day six arrow/head set up ate her up! 10 yard shot, 35 yard recovery.

                      9pt down

The Palmer Recurve and Palmer Extreme Broadhead do it again!! I swear if I left my bow unattended I would kill on its own! Shot this buck on Wednesday morning. I saw him the evening before but couldn't get a shot. As fate would have it he presented me with another opportunity Wednesday morning after following some doe into the feeder and I made it count. The shot was 15 yards and the deer ran about 150 yards where he died in my neighbors lake. The hit was a little bit back (4-5" left of my spot). The autopsy showed that I hit the liver and one lung. I've been patient all season and I am happy it paid off. One shot = One kill.

                      Palmer Recurve 52lbs at 28"
                      Palmer extreme Broadhead 162 gr
Easton Axis Trads 400 spine (572gr total arrow)
                      Complete pass through
