I would just marinade the meat in a ziplock bag and take it with.

        Alegro.

Coarse black pepper and lime while you cook .

          Sprinkle with fiesta fajita seasoning

Squeeze the juice of about 10-12 limes over them

Soak in hot pace picante sauce

Grill as hot as you can get it

Everything available and cheap at HEB and makes some darn good fajitas. Just remember to cut the correct way!

In the time you spent creating this thread and reading responses, you could have used the bad *** TBH recipe to marinate fajitas with.

            But whatever saves you time.

                La Michoacana Meat Market

Buy the meat already marinated. Good stuff!

Ragin Blaze Fajita seasoning and just enough olive oil with about a tablespoon of Dale's to coat good. Let is rest in fridge 8-12 hours

Why marinate? That makes it taste like the marinade. Lol.

Dry rub. Hot mesquite fire. No more than medium.

If you must marinade just buy the HEB pre packaged. It is good and tender but you must overcook or its just a gooey sloppy mess.

Dry rub. Hot mesquite fire med-med rare.

Is fajita marinade/seasoning prescribed now that you need an "over the counter" one?

I agree. While some marinades have a good flavor, its disrespectful to the meat.

I got hooked on marinated fajitas when I used to spend 10 weeks a year in Mexico... Got the recipe from my favorite grill and been doing it ever since..

Lime juice, Dos XX, Lea & Perrins, touch of garlic, cilantro, salt & pepper cover and refrigerator for 12-24 hours.. I use a griddle, and grill onions & peppers with the meat.

Just don't want to mess with it if they change their minds and don't want to eat that day... I may just take peanut butter and bread...
