Are there any 3d shoots within an hour or so of the Houston area that aren't on Sundays? I shot at Montgomery County archery club for several years but have been out of the sport for a few. It seems that they don't have any shoots coming up that I can find. There are 15 to 20 people within my church and my youth group that are new to bowhunting and want to try a 3d shoot. I wish there was one still in Montgomery County....

2016 Competition Schedule
January 23rd and 24th February 27th and 28th March 26th and 27th
April 23rd and 24th May 28th and 29th June 25th and 26th
July 23rd and 24th August 27th and 28th September 24th and 25th
October 22nd and 23rd November 19th and 20th December 17th and 18th
The 3D Archery competition is open to all DOD ID card holders, and the General Public.
Registration for competition is between 0800-1000 hours, and Fun Shoot registration is between 0800-1100 hours.
Cost for the Competition is $20.00 per person ages 13 and older, Fun shoot is $15.00 per person ages 13 and older, and kids 12 and younger shoot for $5.00. Kids are automatically in the competitor shoot if registered before 1000 hours.
Categories consist of Men Compound, Men Novice, Men Traditional, Women Compound Women Novice, Women Traditional, Youth Compound, Youth Traditional, Cubs ages seven to 12, and Mini-Cubs ages six and younger.

The distance of the targets vary from five yards to 55 yards at unknown distances. Range Finders will NOT be allowed for competition or for fun shoot.
General Public information, due to security procedures all Non-DOD ID card holders 18 and older will be required to provide the following information for the vetting process. Full name (LAST, FIRST MI.), Date of Birth (MM/DD/YYYY), and Driver’s License Number.
