I'm not following you. Why NOT Plano and Frisco? The people there don't work? They don't need a quality grocery store?

Trying to keep their prices low maybe. I wouldn't open a store in the Grove or OC either. Shoplifting costs them a fortune and the paying customers to get to help with that via higher prices.

Because that is where they owned land and where they think it will be the most profitable to them. Crazy stuff...

I remember going into HEB as a little bitty kid & sitting in the cart getting toted around...we are up to 4 or 5 in mcallen alone. The store we go to sells more beer & meat than any other in the state.

I find it odd they aren't more common up north??

What is up north to you? Lol. They have been in Waco since the 70s.

Heck, I call falfurious north... I just assumed they were prevalent in most sizable towns all over tx.

The wife and I do our "big" grocery shop every other Sunday. I'll gladly drive to frisco from pottsboro to utilize the new HEB. Will only utilize walfart when absolutely needed.

Glad we have the one in Hudson Oaks and Granbury.

I've seen arch plans for one in Euless but don't know what ended up happening with it.

Just glad they finally let them come into the DFW area, if they have the specials they had back home, there will be some good buying going on
