A week at the water trough

About 6 years ago I restored an old water trough and well. I relined the trough and had a vacuum truck suck out the well. The well is hand dug and stone lined with a cement bottom, water seeps through the rocks to keep it full. I have never seen the well dry even though it is 30 ft deep. The water has a blue tint to it because I keep a non toxic algaecide in the trough to prevent algae from growing on the sides.

A few years ago I mounted a camera to catch pics of what is going there to drink. I keep the tank full year round and do not let the cattle near it. You know how cows are, if they cant knock it over, stomp on it, they will chit on it.
