    Valentine's Day or weekend ideas?

Valentine's Day is on a Sunday this year. I'm at a loss on what to do. Any ideas for the evening or maybe the weekend would be appreciated. Guys what has "worked " for you in the past? Ladies, any suggestions? I thought dinner and maybe a movie, but that's boring. Then maybe a weekend trip somewhere may be cool. I'm open for ideas and comments. Maybe others could benefit from this thread also. Thanks.

We have stopped going to movies all together. Just not really a social place that takes up a good chunk of time.

Having a hotel stay and relaxing Sunday.

Dinner can be made fun with the right place.

A day and night out is always fun. I am not sure how far you want to go, but you could always go and spend a day/night at the boats in Lake Charles. Some of the casinos have some decent shows and/or a spa which can help break up the temptation to gamble the entire time.

Taking mine out to the drive in theater saturday night, then a sushi lunch sunday. Probably gonna take the boat out sunday after lunch and try to get after some crappie, her favorite kind of fishing

Valentines day will be celebrated on Saturday evening by most places.
Take her to Fredricksburg or The River Walk. I am sure she deserves it.

Gonna treat the missus to a little hubba hubba. I have an extended version of Bolero I'll put on the newfangled Hi-Fi. It's only 4 hours long so I may have to hit replay a time or two.

She does like fish bait "sushi" and she likes playing slots. I'm not a fan of watching slot machines eat my money though. I do play Texas hold em when we go to the casinos. However, we won't be spending much time together if we go there. Maybe something within a couple hours of north Houston area?
