I think it’s a good idea to post as much info on each recipe as possible: brass,primer,bullet,powder&charge,coal ext. also post velocity weapon shot from and average group size.

I’ll start:

223 Remington (THIS IS A MAX LOAD USE CAUTION)
Winchester brass
53gr hornady Vmax
27.5 grains Varget
Seated to AR15 mag length

I’ve had extremely good results with this load out of all 223 rifles I’ve shot it from. Average groups is .5-.75” depending on the rifle. Muzzle velocity out of my 16” AR was 3150fps.

So far reload 6.8 spc, 308 150s and 168s, 6.5 140s, and now 6mm

Anybody interested in 6.8 spc brass reloading dies and bullets shoot me a pm...sold the rifle

looking for a 308 load using 125gr nosler bt's

and 243 loads using 80-87gr bullets

I have varget but will use whatever needed

I load Nosler 125 BTs, Barnes 130 TTSX, Hornady 125 SST

I’ve had the best success using IMR 4895. Sub MOA at 100, light recoil, DRT shots. I do limit this gun to 150 yards

I was suggesting putting the rifle because if you look in most reload books they do have the test rifle listed.

I think he means no two rifles (even of the same model and manufacturer) will shoot the same. So a load for one rem700 that shoots well might be a poor load in another.

I would discourage anyone from going with powder loads from someone else's comments or 'home-recipes' online, here or otherwise. Always USE a reloading manual and/or COMPARE with one! This business is too dangerous to be experimenting or working up loads just to be macho.
Not pointing anyone out at all but reminding newcomers that safety is paramount here.

I have a Remington 700 .243 that shoots 85 grain Sierra Gameking HPs and IMR-4350 really good. Less than 1/2” 3-shot groups on a regular basis.
