Today was the last day for Doe until late season so my son and I decided to go sit. Saw a P&Y buck at 4:30 and I almost let my son take him. We decided to hold off and see if the #1 target would show back up mid December like he always does. 5pm has some doe work their way in and the particular one I was after was in the group. She settled at 27yds slightly quartering away. I released an arrow and watched her run through woods. Lost sight of her but when we walked out and started tracking she didn’t go 40 yds.

Fat East Tx doe weighing 142.2 pounds and 101.2 dressed. Filling the freezer up!

My turn again! Up at my folks place in Jack County for 1 more night. Was surprised last season with a big buck. No idea what’s roaming the place but there is a big 10 my sister has encountered a couple times. My dads in the back where I killed the big buck last season and I’m in the front overlooking a good area of ground.
