    DIY Welding table

Built a new welding table over the weekend so I can more easily handle larger builds.

    I used 3/16ths plate for the top and dimensions are 31" X 5Ft. ~$75

    The total height is 33"

    Total build cost is ~$160.

The caster wheels are 5" tall and cost ~ $50

Very nicely done, I made one like that and mounted a chip saw on it so I could do projects outside. Very handy

Looks good. Your “larger builds” are apparently smaller than my “small builds”. :-).

Very nice, mine is pretty similar. That thing will last you forever.

2" box tubing for legs and top supports and 1.5" angle on the bottom where the expanded is.

Looks good you might want to put an angle or square tube under the edges of you table top will help stiffen it and protect you from the edges another thought maybe round the corners

I really think you are going to have to frame out the outer edges with some angle. Between working and the heat you will put into it, I'm afraid it will warp and bend badly.
