Traditional FSC Week 3 of '21

With deer season ending for most, questions abound: hunt hogs?, exotic ranch hunt? What 3D shoots, change form or aiming/shooting method? Oh, and, by the way ... government?

So, let's shoot the spot of a Question Mark .

On an 8.5x11" sheet of paper, draw a question mark, with a 1-1/2" spot. Put a small dot in the center of the spot.

Challenge is to shoot the first 2 arrows of a day from 12 yards (6 for kiddos) using any stance, trying to hit the center of the spot. Hit counted as in or touching the spot.

Winner will be the one with the most hits on earliest single day. Up to three days' tries. Measure closest arrow to center for secondary tie-breaker.

Draw your own target or print out mine.

    Good luck, have fun!

Sorry TT. I had it in my mind you were winner and decided not to check back until new target posted

Yesterday evening, I guided my son on his first white tail kill. Last WT hunt of the season. Perfect shot. Normally I dig around TBH while in the blind but I had some work to do and had to call an audible to move from an ambush at the corn pile to stalking them feeding in the field.

That's a lot harder than it looks. I tried my 1st day yesterday and won't even bother posting the pic!! How does anybody hit a squirrel at 12-yards?

Give it a try today if the rain holds off.

First two shots missed paper low, justr off the page. I hit the dot on shot 8! Good grief.

Have to admit, it's making me focus!

Stay after it. Riser marks help me out for gauging elevation. I have hi-vis tape on mine.

Day 2: 7/16” on the second shot. My arrow with my duct tape turbulator is my favorite arrow by far. My first shot was annoyingly wild.

Great shot, Briar! That'll tough to beat.

Day 1 - one touching the circle. Not closer than Briars though!
