Not sure about the grass coming back at J-ville but that little lake it is the perfect example of something amazing TPWD has screwed up. Property owners got mad and they shocked the lake with carp, and do not tell me those havent reproduced. Every blade of grass is gone, fishing SUCKS, and there are still small grass carp to be found.
Big fish but it's likely to have issues like Sharealunkers always seems to have such as the "broken jaw syndrome". Then they are likely to sell its offspring to another Private ranch, which should absolutely only be returned to public waters...all for a replica mount and spot on the bragging board.Last edited by Easttxbowman; 01-20-2021, 04:25 PM.

We do not have asian carp in texas yet and you better hope we never do, they have built bio acoustic fish fences in rivers in and out of lakes that have been infested and they seem to be working to slow their spread for the most part so far.

The Zebra muscles are on Lake Austin full force. I actually am able to go on training dives out there now and many days have 10-15 feet of visibility. Still some big ditch pickles in the lake but the numbers of small fish is way down. I remember watching guys fish the hydrilla bed by the golf course and catch numbers and quality fish
