    Daily Bible Portion (Wednesday)

    Daily Bible Portion – 4 of 7
    "COME"

    (Weekly Reading>>Exodus 10:1-13:16, Jeremiah 46:13-28, Luke 2:22-24, John 19:31-37)

The question of what people group killed Yeshua is subtly designed to promote anti Semitism. It is not a certain people who killed Yeshua, as we are all guilty of His death. 1 John 3:16 it states that Yeshua chose to lay down His life for us.

1 John 3:16 “This is how we know what love is: Yeshua the Messiah laid down His [own] life for us.”

Yeshua died because of our sinfulness. He took our dishonor upon Himself and died our death. He is the Passover Lamb. He is our redemptive Bridegroom. No other sacrifice is acceptable for our sins. Yeshua, from the House of Judah(Jews) and the throne of David, became the kinsman-redeemer for the Whole House of Israel (all twelve tribes) which has been scattered into the whole world. He died to restore the authority Adam(mankind) lost in the Garden and to make us a legal Bride/Priesthood on the earth in representing His Gospel (Kingdom power and authority) to the nations.

Exodus 12:7; 22-23“They shall take some of the blood and put it on the two doorposts and on the lintel of the houses in which they eat it. And you shall take a bunch of hyssop, dip it in the blood that is in the basin(threshold), and strike the lintel and the two doorposts (Mezuzah's) with the blood that is in the basin (Threshold). And none of you shall go out of the door of his house until morning. For Yahweh will pass through to strike the Egyptians; and when He sees the blood on the lintel and on the two doorposts, Yahweh will pass over the door and not allow the destroyer to come into your houses to strike you.”

The Israelites were to apply the blood to the doorposts using the hyssop plant. This is a prophetic picture of Yeshua’s crucifixion where His blood was sprinkled for the redemption of our sins.

John 19:29-30 “A jar of wine[Blood of The Covenant] vinegar was there, so they soaked a sponge in it, put the sponge on a stalk of the hyssop plant, and lifted it to Yeshua’s lips. When he had received the drink, Yeshua said, ‘It is finished.’ With that, he bowed his head and gave up his spirit.”

•The blood was to be applied to the doorposts and lintel of the entrance to their houses. This is the place where covenants were made in near east cultures. These contracts/covenants were agreed upon at the door/gate prior to entering a dwelling/city.

•The two doorposts represent the two sticks or "trees"; they are the two sticks or Two Houses of Israel, the House of Judah and the House of Israel.(Ezekiel 37:15-22)

•The lintel joins the two doorposts, as the "Head" Yeshua, The Word of God, is the Head or covering of the body which has many members. End times unity during the Messianic Era is seen here in the restoration of all Twelve Tribes under one Leadership or Head.

•The bason/threshod at the entrance of a home has a "cup" or "bowl" where the blood of an animal in this case a Lamb was collected. This bason functions as a altar of the covenant between Yahweh and His house/family. It is the stumbling stone at which many stumble.

•The house represents the kingdom of Yahweh and His covering, which we choose to remain in when we walk in obedience to the principles of His Kingdom.

John 10:7-9 “Yeshua said, ‘I tell you the truth, I am the gate[gate keeper] for the sheep. I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved[delivered]. He will come in and go out, and find pasture.’”

Yeshua is the gate keeper of our covenant. He ensures those who keep the covenant will enter into His dwelling place and those who break His covenant are kept outside. He seperates [Judgement] the sheep from the goats, the wheat from the tares, the good fish from the bad fish.

Revelation 22:14 Blessed are those who do His commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter through the gates into the city.

Deuteronomy 6:9 You shall write them[The Commandments] on the doorposts[Mezuzah's] of your house and on your gates.

At Sinai prior to entering the house [land, kingdom] of Yahweh the comandments or conditions of the covenant were given to those about to enter in. They were warned as we have been warned of the concequences should we decide to forsake His covenant.

1 Peter 2:8 and "A stone of stumbling, and a rock of offense." They stumble because they disobey the word[Jesus], as they were destined to do.

When we walk in His ways, obeying His commandments forbids the enemy from having any authority over us as we have become His bride, and is also how we show agreement with Yeshua’s atonement for our transgressing of the covenant so that we can become new creatures walking with our Bridegroom. (Ezekiel 37:15-28; Ephesians 2:14-22; Ezekiel 48:31; Revelation 21:12-13)

Luke 22:20 Likewise He also took the cup after supper, saying, "This cup is the new [renewed] covenant in My blood, which is shed for you."

Not one bone of the Passover lamb was to be broken (Exodus 12:46). This is prophetic of Yeshua’s body, in that not one bone in His body was broken at His death. It was also prophetic of the Twelve Tribes of Israel who make up the whole body of Yeshua; not one Tribe will be missing, broken or split off from the main body. All twelve tribes are complete in Him. Yeshua’s death is for the restoration of the Twelve Tribes of Israel; thus not one bone in His body was broken upon His death (Acts 1:6).

John 19:32-33 “The soldiers therefore came and broke the legs of the first man who had been crucified with Yeshua, and then those of the other. But when they came to Yeshua and found that he was already dead, they did not break his legs.”

The Destroyer spared those in the houses who had the sign of the blood of the lamb upon the doorways. “The blood is a sign for you on the houses where you are; and when I see the blood, I will pass over you. No destructive plague will touch you when I strike Egypt” (Exodus 12:12-13).

Exodus 12:8-11 “That same night they are to eat the meat roasted over the fire, along with bitter herbs, and bread made without yeast. Do not leave any of it till morning; if some is left till morning, you must burn it. This is how you are to eat it: with your cloak tucked into your belt, your sandals on your feet and your staff in your hand. Eat it in haste; it is Yahweh’s Passover.”

    The Missing Feast

The Passover is a prophetic picture revealing end-times truth. We are to celebrate the remembrance of this night throughout all generations. Early church rulers removed the observance of Yahweh’s Passover in 325 CE when the Council of Nicea met under Constantine’s leadership. At that time they chose to replace Yahweh’s set-apart day [Holy-Day] with the celebration of their own paganized Feast commonly known as Easter. This was installed to honor the pagan Spring Equinox and is an extension of the pagan Feast of Saturnalia, from where we get Christmas. Today more and more people are returning to embrace the prophetic words of Moses and the truth that is held in Yeshua’s Gospel. One of the first ways they are returning is by restoring Yahweh’s true holi-days beginning with Passover.
