Default 4X8 Deer Stand Build 2019

Was looking around for a double Blind so Me and my Daughter/Brother could hunt together with being all cramped up in a 4X4 Blind.

Decided to build. Just over 1K invested in this Labor Of Love.
This will be mounded on an 4X8 trailer for mobility. I have welded Bulldog Trailer Jacks on all sided for stability. SORRY about the side way pictures. Could not get um right for some reason.

You could have ripped the 2x4s and used half as much bracing and built two .
Good looking blind.

My neighbor asked what I was building. I told him it was a Deer Stand OR a Dog House. Depends on my Behavior.

I like it!

I have hunted out of one similar but not as nice. Last year I went back to a popup and got sick from kicking thr dirt around. So...back to the condo style shooting blind for me!

You should have roughed in the electrical and plumbing before insulation/skinning the walls. Going to be a lot tougher now.

Never mind, I got busy after reading the initial post and forgot it was on a trailer. Carry on

Great looking build, should last you a very long time. If you ever try to bow hunt out of that thing you're gonna wish you went at least 1 ft. deeper than 4'. Unless you are a very short person.

Sherman Williams Exterior with primer. Lowe’s was getting rid and not caring this brand any longer and I bought two 5 gal for $5 a piece. They colored one brown and one green. I mixed them. Hit it with two coats.
