From an Old Hickory Butcher Knife

    To this.
Have a customer who wanted me to modify an Old Hickory butcher knife, so I took off the original scales, reprofiled the blade and tang, then added some vintage original Westinghouse Micarta scales.
    I kind of like it!

      Old Hickory

This old knife is one of two that my parents purchased in the late 1940's. Needed some work done to this one. Mike did a fine job cleaning it up, reshapeing it, and putting a new handle on it. Looks very good. Can't wait to use it. Thanks again Mike for all the hard work and dedication to this art.

I'll get the sheath for it done next week and bring it over.

I've got a couple that need new handles. They are such good knives
