We are covered up in deer.
Had a nice 8 pnt @ 30 yards.
Had 12 Does around us. A couple circled down wind and busted us.
Hard to get an arrow in anything with all those eyes and noses around us.

360 yards of water and lots of ducks. When it’s dry, it’s my best lane for deer.

I think it’s time to kill some slick heads in the river bottom.
I’m sure a lot of the water has these deer pushed up from other parts of the lease.

No shooters.

Back in the box stand this morning.
It’s Me,Talen & his best friend Cooper.

36 degrees has us firing up the stand heater.

Gonna sit as long as these boys can stand it.

Got woodies landing in the flooded road and the woods are starting to light up.

Summer and I had a great hunt yesterday evening. Just didn’t have a shooter present himself.
