I have one of the regular sized and on low it will burn you out of a 4x6. That one may be little too much for me

I get it warm, then cut it back to just the pilot. Makes it perfect when cold for me.

Way over kill for an average blind. I always have thought they were over priced and overhyped.

I bought mine for my shop and garage and emergency heat(only) for the house. I also bought a Champion Dual Fuel generator as back up just in case ERCOT and the state of Texas drops the ball this winter. It`s like concealed carry........... It`s better to have it and not need it, than to need it and not have it. I have a small screw on heater for my blind that I have had for 25 years that heats my blind very well.

Well you should re-think it. These things are great. Not over hyped or priced. Started using one a couple years ago when my kids started hunting with me and it allows me to wear way less clothes which makes it easier to draw my bow.

Youíre literally the only person Iíve ever heard say theyíre over priced or over hyped. I love mine, and would buy it 100 times over. Makes kids sitting in a cold blind no problem!

I could see that as a need for a shop or emergency backup, but for the average blind, imho they are overkill. I bought a couple and ended up selling them after trying them out.

I have had the same heaters probably like yours for blinds that are +20 years old. I think they were about $20.

Only way to go on cold windy days in a gun blind! Use a 20 lb propane bottle that sits outside with a hose connected to mine so I don't have to buy the small propane bottles.
Great for all day sits!!

I have one in all 7 of our blinds hooked up to big bottles hanging under the blinds and you couldn’t pay me to go back to the time without them. I fix sausage, egg and cheese taquitos the night before and heat them up while hunting. I get ready to go fairly early and after I started doing this I can easily add 2 hours of seat time to the morning hunts getting me easily to 11 am before I have to get out. I built grates for the top of mine and I love them, I know it’s not everyone’s cup of tea but I’m into having fun and enjoying myself more than killing things these days but I did shoot a 13 point yesterday morning while eating a steaming hot taquito LOL I shot him off a hot doe and went back to enjoying breakfast and watched the deer get the snot beat out of him by a buck he had obviously been a bully to and then he took the bucks doe off to romance in the woods all by himself.

Just a thought, the new Flex’s are more expensive but work better for warming more than one person. I bought one last month to see how they worked and they heat more of an area than the Buddy’s do.

Probably the difference and I didnít notice the BTU on it and would explain an earlier detraction.

That 9k is about perfect for a blind though.

Love my Mr. Buddy heater. Makes a world of difference on those cold days. Found one a couple years ago at a Walmart for half off on clearance isle. Should have bought more than one that time.
