I’m not in the know as much as some on this thread, so certainly appreciated all the updates and info.

We hunt pipeline area. Fairly close to the PL/Hwy 1 intersection. We didn’t have anyone in camp this weekend.

Glad to hear the hunters are safe and sound. It’s terrible for all of Villa Union. That has always been a peaceful, happy little town as long as I’ve been going. I am very thankful that we were safe as well. Although we were WAY too close to the battle for a short time... it would have taken a crazy stray bullet to do us any harm. We were at the wrong place at the wrong time but we also didn’t heed a couple of warning signs that would’ve kept us much farther away. We don’t have an Old Mexico veteran showing us the way and are learning as we go. Be careful down there amigos!!
