Just mystifying to me some of the 'Yes' answers on here ... why are you drinking at all while carrying a gun? Some act like its OK when dove hunting but not other times...?? Is especially a no-no then, most often than not your within close range of fellow hunters, plus if your thirsty, its just making you more thirsty. No logic to that way of thinking at all.
This is a bowhunting site. I'm carrying a bow.....and a bottle of Jack.

And this is one of the huge problems with hunters today!

If you're going to drink in the blind at least drink good bourbon.

          In the field, never.

In camp, sometimes, but generally not more than one or two drinks.

Nope--was told very early on that gunpowder and alcohol don't mix, and I have stuck to it. Based on the many dumb things I've done while under the influence, I know it is the right thing to do.

No, until I get back to camp then all bets are off.

Used to but fell 10' out of a stand after a few WHISKEYS, broke my wrist, never again! That was when I could climb a ladder 10', days gone by!!!

If the temperature is between 70-105, I will bring some beers. If it's 70 or below, I will bring some bourbon.
