80 yo MIL and Covid?

So my wife's mom has avoided getting the shot and started feeling bad about a week ago. Got the quick test that came back negative so they gave her antibiotics for bronchitis.

The day before yesterday she completely lost her sense of smell. Couldn't even smell a jar of Vics with her nose in the jar.

Went yesterday for the better test and... low and behold... she still doesn't have covid!
According to the Dr. the Antibiotics can also cause a lose of smell.

You could/can get it from Tractor Supply

Tractor Supply has both injectable and edible. You can just take both oral. I take from Tractor Supply. My wife takes the pills. Got them in Mexico

We have always gotten a majority of our meds in Mexico. Amoxil, Z Packs, hCQ, and now Ivermectin pills. Once the Covid stuff is over I may try getting it prescribed for my arthritis. Since Ive started taking it Im much better in that department

Imma stick to TSC unless a doc writes me a 'script and I can get it at CVS. I don't have much faith in the QA controls in Mex!

Id probably be same way if I hadnt taken medications from traveling since I was a kid. The Z Packs are made by two companies worldwide. The Amoxil is in same blister pack same company I got a Walgreens. I only buy meds out of country that come in blister packs. And most medications you take come from China unfortunately.

Have you ever seen the 20/20 special on counterfeit drugs. Viagra made with cement and blue latex paint. In a blister pack and everything.

Now I want some concrete blue wood pills. I wouldnt doubt making fake blue pills as there is money in it. Not so much for Z Packs, amoxil, ivermectin. They are all cheap

My wife has a sinus infection currently with sore throat and head pressure. We just got back from Mexico so she tested negative 6 days ago (already had the sore throat)for re entry. She started taking some left over antibiotics when she got home but noticed she could not smell on Sunday. Went and got tested again and also tested for flu A and B negative again on all fronts. She had COVID less than 6 months ago by the way.
I would listen to the doc and keep an eye on it. I suspect we will still get sinus infections(which also effect your since of smell) after all this is done.
