Monday Morning Edition of..."What Do You Think Happened Here?"

Shot this boar last night. As you can see, pretty close range. Arrow somewhat disappears behind some leaves.

Looked good to me but was it really? Hint...there was no exit!!! I know he didn't like it.

Dead pig or still running (with arrow)?
If dead, how far he make it?
    Blood trail good? Bad? sketchy?
    Heart? Lung? Too low?

    Let's hear what you think.

    And...GO!!

Looks like it's a dead pig. I'm thinking 35yrds and you find the pig.

        Here is my guess.

Dead pig or still running (with arrow)? - Dead pig
If dead, how far he make it? - 45 yards
Blood trail good? Bad? sketchy? - Good trail
Heart? Lung? Too low? - Not sure on the broadhead, but I think you snuck in some heart.

Sure sounded like he didnt like it. Hahaha

Man oh man. I thought you were hunting my old spot on the Trinity river in Liberty County. Looks identical.

I'm gonna stray from the crowd and say due to the angle the arrow exited too far forward and he ran a country mile. But in all reality...probably nicked the heart on the way in and exited a little forward and he ran less than a country mile.

I say dead with a short trail. He is holding left leg up when he ran off. Thinking arrow lodged in opposite leg. He definitely did not like it.

Looked like great placement to me. No more than 50-60 yards, good blood, dead.

FND ...you give pig farmers a bad name..."

My guess....shot through the heart dead in the tree or just past it right there on the left..

Going with the crowd. Through the pump house and stuck in the front leg, offside leg, thus the squeal. Wasted time running the wrong way to start with, so dead in 35 yards. Plenty of blood to follow.
