Galveston Fish Charter Recs

Alright folks, my wife and I and a couple other families are heading to Galveston the last week of July. While we’re down there, we(the men) definitely want to do some fishing. Not decided on if we just want to fish the bay or run offshore.

I know lots of y’all have fished with different guides down there, so any recommendations are appreciated.

I dont do guided trips but if I did I'd go with john havens or steve Hillman

That time of year I would definitely run offshore and chase shrimp boats around. No clue on who to use, I run my own boat.

Anyone taken any night time trips? Might be easier to get the wives on board if we go at night while they’re at the house with the kids sleeping.
