Someone or something is going to get their pants sued off, that is completely unacceptable.

Saw that in a pop up on the weather app this morning.
        Brutal way to go.
I'm not sure why anyone should be sued.
Some elite runners in that field.
I would assume some had support crews as well.
Nobody looked at the weather, thought about the elevation, nothing?
Even if they didn't, nobody held a gun to their head and made em run.

Some pretty crazy videos making their way out. These people literally froze to death!

Not dressed for it, and those athletes didn't have enough body fat for insulation either.

That's my secret to cold weather survival. Keep my own layering system.[emoji16]

There's some ultra run in pretty hostile terrain in the US, not too far fetch for something like that to occur at any of them.. The Barkley's are nuts, watch those videos that race is a beat down! Badwater in death valley, Hardrock 100 is 30K+ of mountains.. Mother nature ain't no joke

                    No joke.
I've watched people stumble half dead out of Barkley.
                    Leadville is another one.
100 miles through the mountains, up to almost 13k ft elevation.

31 yo ultra is very young for an ultra runner. Surprised to hear that.

I am sure some state officials heads will roll. Literally.

I’ve decided I’m operating on that same premise

WTH? Even Stevie Wonder could've seen that coming! They don't have the weather channel over there?
