    Dumb question on bow season

Does the bow season ends Nov 4th on public land unless it is a draw hunt?

It said 10/1- 11/4 on the tpwd website. Is that all we get?

You can always bowhunt during the regular (rifle) season

Like Walker said, that is the bow only season. If that piece of property has a general season you can use a bow then as well when others can be using rifles or shotguns.

It is general season, not rifle season. All legal means and methods, including archery are allowed.

"General" that's the word I was looking for.

Lake Waco anyone can hunt the archery season but you have to be drawn during the general season but once you are drawn you can hunt with a bow during the general season
in the area you are drawn is what I read.

Lynn21 is correct. Smart was correct about Walker, who was looking for a word, that bowhuntntxn said in his post, giving a description of the later season.

                Now, carry on.

It changes what you can take. You have to follow the firearm regulations usually buck only in firearm season unless you have doe tags.

I understand during Muzzleloader season you can only use a Muzzleloader on public or privet land. Is that true?

But, but, y'all forgot about MLD lands, you are making things sound simple.

                            That is true, muzzleloader only.
