Heat up the sauce to a simmer. Throw in the thawed shrimp (pull the tails off first) and let it cook for about 5 minutes at a simmer.

Have your minute rice and bread already done/cooking.

Put that doo on a kracka (or in this case, a piece of garlic bread).

I add a few shakes of this to each of the 3 bowls I eat:

The wife and I eat it almost weekly. Making it for TBH'er Doug and his wife tonight. Love this stuff!

This one inspired me today, thanks Chew. Brookshires doesnít carry the pre made sauce but they do sell a Louisiana dry seasoning. I doubled the recipe on that bag and sautťed an onion and garlic in the butter it called for. Added frozen shrimp and a packages of Holmes andouille sausage. Itís a real good low carb dish also. Topped off with chupa Cajun season parsley and salt. I did boil in the bag rice for the boys. Fed four with lunch leftovers.

Y'all make sure you look around the produce, seafood, bakery areas. It's not on the shelf near the other cajun stuff in the three HEBs I've bought it from.

I called my wife from HEB and said get one our 5 or so rice cookers and make a pot of fresh rice. I got a bag of two pounds of raw shrimp.

I sautťed the shrimp about 4 minutes in half a stick of butter, then simmered the creole maybe 8 minutes to thicken it a tad.

For a store bought quick fix, it is pretty good. Other than cooking the rice, it is about a 15 meal.

Oh yeah, Success rice, especially if you can get the Jasmine, is better than Minute Rice imo if you want quick. My born and raised in Korea wife can barely tell the difference of Thai jasmine rice cooked fresh and Success Jasmine. It tends to have more flavor
and body than Minute Rice.
