There are too many to list. Roger Clemens, Pedro Martinez, Bonds, McGwire and Sosa smashing dingers are some of my favorite.

All good picks. But for me the finesse that Gwynn and Maddox brought to the the table was mind blowing. And Santiago would throw behind a left handed batter to pick a runner off at first base with too much of a lead.

Pete Rose - Do anything to get on base and score

Johnny Bench - Best catcher I ever saw

Rollie Fingers - If he wasn't one of the greatest relievers/closers he certainly had the greatest mustache

Pete Rose would have played the game for free if he had to. I never remember another player with that much passion.

A player who far exceeded his talent level was David Eckstein. Peskiest and mentally toughest hitter of the 2000's. I hated him against the Astros but respect his grit.

Best memories I have are the Sunday afternoons sitting in my dads lap watching baseball. All in the early 60's. Mantle was big into Little League baseball in Dallas. You would see him walking around Kiest Park checking out the kids games.

Great question.

Pitcher: Nolan Ryan. After all, my son is named after him. I feel like I was too young to appreciate him when he played, since I was born in 87. My appreciation grew as I got older and understood all the things he was about.

Hitter: I'm going with Josh Hamilton. 2010 was absolutely an unbelievable year and I'll never forget the 28 home runs in the first round of the home run derby, including one that left Yankee Stadium.

Catcher: Pudge. Arguably the best catcher that ever lived. Unquestionably in the top 3. He had the best arm in the game and I am glad that I was able to witness all those pick off's and lasers catching would-be base stealers.

All around...growing up and watching the Rangers was quite an experience. at 4 years old I knew every single ranger, their number and position. Baseball was and still is my favorite sport. The game will teach you a lot about life.

Pitcher: I enjoyed the knuckleballers. Wakefield and Dickey. Even they barely knew where it was going.

Hitter: I'm blown away with what Altuve can do given that the man is 5'5'' tall.

Catcher: Yadi Molina and Benito Santiago. Both incredible.

Overall I go with Adrian Beltre. He was a great player who had a lot of fun with the game.
