She is a perfect example of the old saying "better to keep your mouth shut and thought stupid than to open your mouth and remove all doubt"...of course that is my take on that old saying. Her and Debbie Wasserman Shultz are running a race to see who can be the stupidest elected woman in politics although Maxine Waters has pretty sharp elbows to work her way into the race.

Bartender who couldn't pay her to rent. She gets elected for one term and gets benefits for the rest of her life. Great retirement plan for a one term idiot.

              Where are you finding this?

I just read both versions of the resolutions and did not see anything about farting cows, or bridges across oceans.

And, to the other points, I upgraded the energy efficiency of my house, no real issue with that push. I have no issue with electric cars...I’m a capitalist, if the market supports it, manufacture away. And, no issue with public transportation developments or improvement - that’s part of infrastructure improvements which is something our Presidentvran in.

There’s plenty to argue about with regard to other portions, e.g. wealth disparities, global warming, unions. But, nothing in her proposal discusses how the implementation will take place. The point of the resolution is to broadly identify an issue and recite a goal. A lot of the resolution discusses preserving the environment. Again, no issue with that goal. It also discusses respecting people...not opposed to that either.

Do you have a copy of your source for us to read for ourselves?

When a socialist liberal mentions preserving the environment it means you are going to lose several freedoms.
When they mention climate change...it means you lose even more freedoms
When they say respect people it means.....do exactly as they say and dont question their motives.
The green new deal is a pipe dream that ONLY the American people would suffer under. There is not a nation anywhere on earth that would agree to such stupidity.
It's pure stupidity and it's that simple.

She should be blond, I just can't believe that a group of voters elected her.

and lets not forget wealth disparities; I am by no means a "rich" person, but I darn sure don't expect anything from anyone that I didn't work for.

and lets not forget "global warming"; well we all know that this is pure unadulterated B.S.!!

She wasn't really that detailed so i guess the first thing most sane people think of when airflight is no longer available for crossing a water body is a bridge of some sort? Maybe she should have just included her solar powered submarine transport idea into the plan...then we wouldnt have looked so stupid.

If the body of water is large enough to necessitate a flight to cross, no my first immediate alternative is not to build a bridge. Boat comes to mind far quicker than a building a bridge.

I'm no fan of hers, but I also like facts. The resolution didn't contain those things, the FAQs did.

Glad I asked for the source, so now I can know where this stuff is coming from, and can have an informed comment or opinion.

We love to talk about the left being a bunch of sheep. Unfortunately, I don't think that issue is exclusive to them.

Two things that caught my eye in this GND:

"Economic security for all who are unable or unwilling to
                                work"

Can I be unwilling to work?

"How will you pay for it?
The same way we paid for the New Deal, the 2008 bank bailout and extended quantitative easing programs. The same way we paid for World War II and all our current wars. The Federal Reserve can extend credit to power these projects and investments and new public banks can be created to extend credit. There is also space for the government to take an equity stake in projects to get a return on investment. At the end of the day, this is an investment in our economy that should grow our wealth as a nation, so the question isn’t how will we pay for it, but what will we do with our new shared prosperity."

I want less government. Not more!
