Company sold me wrong ammo

Ordered 10 boxes of 7mm rem mag ammo and they thru in some of the exact same boxes but for a 7mm weatherby mag. I chambered a round in a hurry yesterday eve and luckily didnt pull the trigger. It chambered fine as well. I noticed it when I was unloading the gun and putting round back in holder. I opened the end of box that had nothing about caliber on it. Not to happy about this and will be taking up with the company tomm. Always check all boxes of ammo if you order online. That was my fault there.

I don't know what 7mm rem mag cost but the cost of my 7mm weatherby mag ammo you might make a profit selling it ;-)

I was surprised it chambered as well although I’ve never tried it before. I paid For 10 boxes of the 7 mm Remington mag and only got four. Six of the boxes were the weatherby ammo. I have no use for the other ammo.

I read it as, I got 10 boxes some 7mm rem and some 7mm weatherby.

He said it was marked but he didn't open the end that was marked.

Looking at a reloading manual, I can see where a 7mm weatherby mag would fit in a 7mm remington mag if the rifle had enough free bore. I don't no where the weatherby is getting the case capacity from, other than the long neck, but max loads in my manual for 4350 powder in 7mm rem mag is 58.5 gr and 68 gr max for the weatherby for a 160 gr bullet. That could definitely have been bad to fire. So glad you posted this. Hope it saves someone's day.

Like I said that was my fault, I grabbed a box and opened it but the end didnt have any info. These boxes are exactly same size and I never thought about it. Just figured they were all the same. Heres a pic for you as well.

I’m not going to name them until I talk to them tomorrow. I’ve bought thousands of rounds from them. Never had a problem. No these were brand new.
