Many of you remember Troy Dale Gatlin on here (Ruffrider) who passed away in 2009 from prostate cancer. He was in his early twenties.
Today I learned from his mother that Troy’s father, Lance, has been diagnosed with Prostate cancer. Please keep Lance and Tammy Gatlin, and the Gatlin family in your prayers. I cannot imagine the mental nightmare they are about to endure, having to relive through the same disease that took their son just ten years ago. Lance and Tammy have been such a rock for me and many others over the years in our church and community, showing their faith and dependence upon Christ through life’s difficult times. It breaks my heart to see such great people have to go through this again, and have to face the uncertainty of losing another family member to the same cancer.
Tammy and Lance have been there for me through my own cancer scare, praying for me and providing support to me in a time when I needed it most. I would like to return the favor to them and ask you to please send up a prayer for healing, comfort, and peace for the tough road ahead. God bless
