I've been trying to keep up with this fiasco of an inquiry. Here's what I'm understanding...…..
1. there isn't a "whistleblower" by the legal definition in this situation.
2. The dems, as usual, are guilty of exactly what they are screaming Trump did.
3. The only thing they are basin it on are ASSumptions from people that are part of the deep state and are Trump haters tied to the dems somehow.
3. Biden is being protected by the press and the establishment dems.
4. No one has shown any undisputable truth to the accusations against Trump.
5. There needs to be a LAW put into place so that when someone (Schiff) blatantly and knowingly lies in a congressional hearing, they should be forced to immediately resign and face criminal charges.

Let’s not forget Obama and his admin help up defense aid from Ukraine for years because Obama was putin’s Puppet. No qualms whatsoever but as soon as trump held it up there was outrage and all sorts of “red flags and irregularities”.
Also let’s not forget QPQ is how foreign affairs are conducted around the world between all countries. Exactly why the narrative moved from QPQ to “bribery and extortion”.

What's wrong with Quid Pro Quo?
While we are arguing about wether or not a guy who’s job it is to make sure the people receiving our money are weeding out corruption asked them to weed out corruption, we find out that:
The FBI altered the FISA warrant that kicked this whole thing off.
Strozk was told to alter the 302 from Flynn’s interview (you know, the one that Strozk expressed frustration over not being able to get Flynn on anything) 5 months after the interview took place.
The head of Burisma has been indicted.

Quid pro quo is a clumsy term that can be as simple as this for that, but in the legal world it is about power and corruption. Examples: 1. Boss wants an unsavory act from an underling or they will be fired. 2. NY democrat Mr. Silver made millions by directing funds to cancer researcher Mr. Taub at Columbia University. In return, Taub sent clients to a law firm that gave money to Mr. Silver. Mr. Silver was convicted on federal corruption charges in 2018 and sentenced to 7 years in prison. 3. Republican Mr. Skelos pressured business executives into giving his son $300,000 for jobs he knew nothing about and didn’t show up for. If the executives didn’t pay, Mr. Skelos would kill legislation their firms were seeking. Skelos was convicted of corruption in 2018 and sentenced to 4 years in prison. Quid pro quo has the nefarious use of power forcing someone into an agreement, or gaming the system for gain.
In the Trump impeachment investigation there were two accusations of quid pro quo. One was for the meeting between the Ukrainian President and President Trump at the White House and the other was for the military aid. The argument is that the aid would not be released and the meeting would not be had until the President of Ukraine publicly announced an investigation into Burisma Holdings Ltd. and the Bidens.

Several people have commented that the aid should have been withheld to root out corruption, however the way this is being stated, is inaccurate. The $400 million aid package was overwhelmingly passed by congress and supported by the State Department and the Department of Defense, and the details are clearly spelled out. In the NDAA, Section 1237 (c)(2): the Secretary of Defense, in coordination with the Secretary of State, that the Government of Ukraine has taken substantial actions to make defense institutional reforms for purposes of decreasing corruption, increasing accountability, and sustaining improvements of combat capability enabled by assistance.
The verification of whether Ukraine rooted out enough corruption or not to receive the aid was the responsibility of the Department of Defense. The Department of Defense signed off that Ukraine had met this threshold months before President Trump withheld the aid.

It is impossible to have a quid pro quo if nothing was withheld and nothing was given in return. That is what happened or should I say what didn't happen.
Trump did not withhold money or threaten to withhold money and Ukraine did not investigate Biden and did not offer to investigate Biden.
This is ONLY about trying to muddy his name more that they already do because they have nobody that can beat him.

It’s the President’s job to set foreign policy. It’s the President’s job (per congress) to make sure that foreign aide funds are not going to be used illicitly.
So in other words, the only thing they can say he did wrong here was target a political opponent (funny how they weren’t worried about the IRS scandal or the reporters that were spied on and charged in the last administration). Which makes you wonder why Joe, who is clearly confused and bewildered is running in the first place.

This entire debacle of a "hearing" resides in the hopes of a mentally deranged woman named Nancy Pelosi. The idiocy that has spewed from the mouths of the attendees, counsel, testifiers, chairmen, committee, is heartbreaking and gut wrenching.
These individuals that parade around as the leaders of the Democratic party are simply fools. I don't know when the Democratic party stopped focusing on the "good" of the American people, but it was replaced by focusing on destroying the Republican party. There was a time when Democrats and Republicans beliefs weren't this far apart. Now it seems that the majority of the Democratic party have quit literally lost their minds. How these people have not been placed into custody of a mental institution is beyond me.
