Pretty sure you don't need Super Combo. And yes, lead shot is a bonus if using in the field. Problem is, a lot of idiots are hunting them on playas.....

You can call the TPWD at 1-800-792-1112 push option 5 and menu 2 they will register you and provide you with a permit number then you are good to go. takes about 2 minutes.

I have folks that do it in the field all the time because they forgot.
