That’s easy. If the bottom half has disappeared it is sunset. If the bottom half hasn’t appeared yet it’s sunrise. Duh!!

I would think so but not 100%. Usually the colors are little bit different, at least to my eyes.

The article I linked explains that and it's true. But if you just woke up and your eyes haven't been adjusting all day (or night) then the colors wouldn't have a different appearance
