Mine was a '79 one ton Chevrolet 3+3, 4 door long bed. Hawaiian blue. This is the closest picture I could come up with. This is not the vehicle.

Not the actual car but almost exactly the same: 1974 Chevrolet Nova. Got it at the beginning of my senior year of high school in 1983.
In 1983 I had been married for a year to my second and final wife.

But to answer your question, it was a 1955 Ford sedan with a 272 V8 in it. Pretty pedestrian ride, but I was married to the devil’s sister then, and she didn’t deserve any better…….

1956 Merc, leather seats, yellow/black, caught many eyes, but the one gal is one Ga peach I latched onto and we will be spending our 59th wedding together on June 15th.

1969 Firebird convertible. Paid $550 for it on 09-22-1978. Bought it from a childhood buddy's stepdad.

I have this rust free '69 in the garage awaiting cloning into my first car.

It will be Verdoro Green with green standard interior and a 400 hood.

I have a '72 455HO 4 speed block for the build that came as a spare when I bought a '72 455HO Trans Am. I sold the spare intake, heads and exhaust manifolds because I'm going aftermarket with those items.

1957 International pickup. Not the same truck but actually a clone to it right down to the color. Paid $600 for it in 1963. Straight six with a true free wheeling overdrive. Wish I had it back. That hunk of iron would get 20mpg+ all day long.

Dang some of y'all started with some nice ones!

My first was a 1983 Ford Escort hatchback...with a sunroof. I think I got it in 1991 and I was very grateful to have it. Only had it a short while and moved to a 1985 Chevy S-10.

1969 Dodge Coronet...got it when I turned 16 in 1989 from a senior that was graduating and getting a new one for college. Man I loved that car...lots of awesome memories in that thing! It had some Cragers on it, awesome stereo, a big backseat [emoji16], and parents had it painted BRIGHT yellow so everyone would know where i was at!!haha Wish I still owned it!

What I'd give to have it back. "It" being the truck and the waistline! LOL
