If it weren’t so cold the catfish would have already taken care of it from my experience. They will eat anything. I even put our left overs or when I clean the fridge out the catfish in my pond gets them. It drives my wife crazy but she has finally realized the more she comments the worse it gets.

Back in the 80's we had a big party at a friends house who had a giant aquarium with several big Tiger Oscars in it. One of the idiots at the party decided it would be cool to feed them a few cigarette butts. Being they are highly aggressive of course they ate them up.. Several hours later the butt eating Oscars were belly up in the aquarium.. STONE DEAD.. Nicotine poisoning is my guess..
