I have a couple of groups that bow hunt them
Each year in March at our ranch in South Texas. They are a great animal to bowhunt. Once they are cleaned the meat is very clean and good looking. My dad cooked them
For us all the time growing up. The back straps
Are excellent on the grill. They make great Carne Guisada and tamales. Ask long as you clean and keep
The hair and gland off the meat they are fine. We have a resident herd that comes into camp and eats all the corn dropped by the feeders. Those are off limits this year Bisch/ Humper.
