Are these big elk being killed out there true free range, natural elk? Or, are these big ranches pumping protein into them? Doesn’t matter, just genuinely curious...

I would be surprised of any ranch feeding protein for elk. They are free range and eat way too much to justify feeding them.Originally posted by 44mAG View Post

agree with this. My experience on a very large ranch is that they do nothing for wildlife but just for cattle with water etc. but the elk have always been there and nothing nefarious going on.Originally posted by wtx223 View PostComment

I think that a couple of the West Texas elk hunts are aired on BOUNDLESS BROTHERS. My son, Steve shoots video for this show and I can tell you that there are true monsters out there. There's a 21 minute episode on CARBON TV.
