    selling private fishery gamefish

I have asked two game wardens and neither knew the answer.

Does anybody know if you can legally sell gamefish caught in a private fishery to someone else to stock their private fishery with?

Example: Bobs neighbor Joe has a recently constructed 1 acre stock tank and he wants 50 bass to put in there, but doesn't want fingerling size bass that are normally provided from fish stocking services. Bob tells Joe that he has a stock tank on his place that is overrun with 6"-10" bass and that he will catch him 50 of them and deliver them to him for $2/fish.

I would think it'd be fine. Just like having someone come stock your tank with trophy bass minnows.

You mean fish you raised at your private Hatchery? Hatcheries do it all the time.

Private water to private water, shouldn't be an issue.

That's how people buy fish for their tanks. The size of the fish they are buying doesn't matter.
Sure are lots of examples on here where a Game Warden can't give a straight answer a question.

                Private resources/game for private entities.
                No problem..
If either was publicly or state owned it would then be a problem. Privately owned on both sides equals 0 legality issues inside Texas.

I like the way you think. I don't need the States permission to use my property as I see fit.

Just because they are in a high fence hatchery doesn’t mean they’re any easier to catch.
