Age question?

I’m not on the lease and just trying to help out on ages. Supposedly this was the same buck last year. I can see it looks like the same buck, but not from last year. It’s a low fence Mexico lease.

Aging is always difficult, I have a wildlife biology degree, hunted, managed and guided many ranches, it’s always difficult to age deer, unless you have history of the deer and the ranch. Also the specific area the ranch is located.

I agree but did you see the other pictures of him of the last two years? On the hoof I would say that deer is 6.5-7.5 years old.
