What’s a cord of mesquite going for ?

Last I checked from supplier's was ~$300.

Come down here, I'll cut you a truck load for free.
When I get a good tree or trees to cut I push 95% into piles to burn and just take the bases.
The problem with hauling it is that it is so darn heavy, makes it not worth a long drive.

Thanks for the offer. We have a ranch hand that is always looking for extra money. He’s going to cut and load it for me. I just wanted to toss him some cash on the side.

They sell it a dollar a stick in the panhandle. Stopped just to see what the price was on some driving back to Wyoming last winter, at a dollar a stick we just kept on going with our load of pecan and oak.
