that happens with a lot of industries with chinese and indian engineers.

companies get them for a "great bargain", but then end up having their tech stole. the oilfield is common place with that scenario

Heck yeah I'm following. I worked closely with a team at JPL several years back as they were modeling and testing the parachute. They used cold-war era de-weaponized missiles for extreme high altitude testing trying to simulate the Mars atmosphere. Got to be mere feet away from the vehicle. Always fun to tell my family about that stuff "where Sheldon from Big Bang works"
